Happies News YearS! hahahaha.... i did tat on purpose. anyway this cny does dun have the mood for me. No decoration, no visitation which means so few angbaos collected this year. haiz... couldn't meet up with my once-a-year-meet-one-time relatives. hahahaha... especially couldn't meet up with pauline. argh... this is so SIANZ!!!!
New year eve want to sch to visit the teachers. This year is the last year for my sch cos merging with guangyang. So i will try to go back for any event lor. Met up with my sec sch frens at 7.30 then slowly stroll to sch. Saw seok chuan and xenia. Both of them have grown pretty siah. Not bad. We were abit too early and talked until 8.40 then go to hall for the concert. This year concert so so only lah. Mr yong and mr gan sang chinese songs, got chinese dance, malay dance, some hip hop dance also. The wushu performance is sooooo lousy. The lion is so lazy and the dragon cannot even be coordinated properly. The head move down but the rest of the body kena stone there. Only my batch then can make it. zhi huang, the larps brothers and wei cong were the last people able to give wushu it's meaning. So disappointed. There is also salsa dance. But it wasn't suitable. Got so much body contact.
After the concert then go around finding teachers and wishing them happy new year. as usual, we always spend the most time with ms aljunied. Then saw yee fong. She left sch after sec one(that time it was westlake). Then so long then meet up with her. Rare chance. my lunchtime, only me, shaun, linus, yee fong, alvin and bianca were left. had lunch at tp central then went to bianca's house for mahjong. played for quite long. No gambling was involved hor. dun accuse me of anything hor!!!
Left her house at 4 something. Yee fong wanted to take bus to town so tat she can go home mah. She lives at bukit panjang. Talking about that, bianca actually asked her 6 times within half an hour. She has beaten my record for sstm. She's suffering from esstm or extreme super short term memory. Anyway, i thot that must cross the road to take her bus. Then she boarded 105. I saw the plate says ending point is serangoon, then i'm abit puzzled. From tp can go town then go back to serangoon meh? abit weird hor. Then ask linus then he say correct wat. She happily boarded the bus lor. When the bus left liao, linus suddenly say, wrong direction, correct bus. So msg her and ask her to change bus lor. So sorry for the blurness.
Reached home at 5 something. Then kena complained for coming home so late. Jon and family and my grandpa reached liao, only left my second uncle & family. They are always the last to arrive. This year's reunion dinner abit special, first is had it at the courtyard, previous year was in the living room. second is that my auntie cannot join becos of confinement period. third, this year not only got steamboat but also got hotplate. fourth, my grandma is not around. fifth, surprisingly the abalone was not finished. ever year it's the first to be gone, this year special. Helped to clear up the place then watched tv with zelda & jon until countdown lor. Watched ratrace. stupid but funny show.
Countdown liao then wished everyone happy new year and tat's also when i received my angbaos!!! hahaha... after awhile jon & family left home liao lor. That's my new year eve.
New year's day stone at home until at night then go church. My second uncle came again just after lunchtime. Shao wen came up and watched anime with me lor. haha... he knows how to speak, english, chinese and thai. After service, then i finally managed to get some fun. I and alot of other brethern stayed back to sing hymns. The brethern are paul, vijay, uncle chee ming, auntie chui hoon, eliz, zelda, medelene, grace, sabrina, lydia, angelia, jon, peter, jeannie and vincent. We sang from 9 something to almost 12. Actually wanted to watch movie but all the cinemas were booked fully and the 2 - 3am show might be avaliable, so the movie idea was scrapped. I sang until almost no voice then jon said his voice is so warmed up tat he is ready to go to k box. He's always wanting to go k box. 24/7.
After singing, some of them went back while vijay, grace, angelia, jon, eliz, zelda, jeannie, vincent and me went for supper at the prata house near NUS. Jon drove his dad's company car, the hyundai matrix. The car is small but it has a 1.6 litre engine. Very surprising for such a small car, but the engine very mosiy. Rev abit then noisy liao. The side mirrors also magnify the image. At the road side outside the prata shop, there were alot of cheapo cars trying to act kool by pasting decals and modification. Please lah, u want to be special also must have taste mah. cannot make it.
I had the mushroom cheese and banana prata. I also ordered the tehcinno. hahaha... the price is steep but it's not too bad lah. Went to holland village to go to nydc. But reached there liao not opened. no chioce but to go to the tcc for coffee and chit chat lor. It's almost 2 when we reached there. I ordered the mocha villa. While waiting for our orders, the gals took some magazine and were looking thru for clothes, jewellery and they even discussed about... bra. how this bra is better than the other and lots of other stuff. Is tat what gals talk abt???
Finally my order came, was the second last to come. Drink a few sips only then the whole cup was wasted cos the table was slanting and i accidently hit the cup so spilled lor. Sianz... The person there cleaned up the place and gave me a replacement. so kind of him. He also purposely opened the shop until very late becos of us. Had a great time there. Lots of laughter. I will post some pics for u all to c. Reached home at around 4am. Meddle my com until 5 then zzz...
today ar, woke up at 2pm. had lunch and watched my tapes lor. american idol and amazing race last episode. Angelia msg me to ask me to go the millenia walk to buy the handphone thingy for my mom. Angelia bought 3. two for her parents and 1 for herself. I wanted to buy the handmade dog shapped whistle but the guy dunno ran until where already. Walked back to bugis to take bus home. After dinner helped my mom to look after keefe lor. He is soooooo naughty. Put him on the bed cry, carry him also cry. Now he eats every 2 hours. haiz... he also vomitted just now. Hopefully when he grows older, he will be better lor. kk, me go and watch my anime and zzz liao. wow... i spent 1 hour typing this post. nitez everyone!
