So long never post liao. Happening man since my last post. But too bad the happenings are not good.
The major major happening is A TREE FELL ON MY CAR!!! IN MY OWN CONDO!!!!
It happened on 18 Sept, Sunday.
It was raining very heavily in the wee hours in the morning. I was woken up by my mom and this was what she said: "Leon, quickly wake up! Something happened to your car!!!" I couldn't believe it. I doubted her words. My mom and I quickly run to my car and this was wat i saw:
i was totally stun. Upon nearing my car, this is wat the nightmare looked like:
it was still drizzling. i went to check the damage. but there were too many leaves and branches. i quickly take more pics and guess wat! my camera died on me. nothing seems to be right. i quickly went back to my home trying to get another camera. but can only find a brand new lousy digital camera which hasn't been charged yet. my mom asked my neighbour to help us take more pics. i saw the other car. it was more badly damaged then mine.
i tried to enter into my car and found tat my left front dorr still can be opened, so i go and check whether the interior is okay. and this was wat greeted me:
then the other owner came already. he also in a loss. he told me that at 6 something he heard a long bang. and went he was about to go to work, he saw his car and reported to the guard house already. he went back into the house. this time, my mom had to go to church to teach in sunday bible class. so i'm left alone and just trying to accept the cruel fact. the whole family of tat other car came down. all also at a loss.
after awhile, the condo contrators came down to remove the fallen tree. while they were carefully cutting the tree, many other condo drivers who drive pass, slowed down to ask what has happened. this is how it looked like when the tree was just removed.
after tat i slowly drive my car up to the sheltered lot. at tat time they were painting, so got alot of spare lots. this is the aftermath:
the windscreen was smashed...
the bootlid spoiler cracked...
the right side pillar of car was severly dented...
my front ride side door got a very deep, sharp dent...
but mine is considered minor damage compared to the other person.
we didn't call to toll away the car yet, just in case the condo management wants to see the situation. my mom called my SE to ask on how to claim the insurance. we were told to call the insurance company and they will tow away the car FOC to the workshop and then they will assess the damage. we decided to tow away the car on tuesday morning. HOWEVER... the first tow truck got stuck in a heavy jam at PIE, so we waited for another tow truck to come. at that time i was having my exams and dong hong was with me. no mood to study at all man. everytime exams sure got something happen to me. the last time was i had fever. now this. anyway, following behind the tow truck, and seeing the condition of my car, it is very saddening.
Reached the BM recovery centre liao, did some paperwork and we have to wait for them to repair lor. initially we thot the damage is around 3k - 4k. but after the assessment by the insurance company, the cost is around 8k plus. good thing can claim insurance. i also saw one of vogs members car there. very chio blue ride. then found out it was porky.
the repairs took 2 weeks. sianz man. during this time i used my mom's car to drive to sch for exams lor. i got 4 papers. two of them are night paper. it was quite well spaced out, so had time to study in between the papers (even though i have no mood). the last paper was organisational management. it was a night paper and a stupid 1hr paper. waste my time....
collected back my ride on 30 sept. the speaker board still cannot be fix cos no stock. up to now i'm still waiting for the stock to come. currently busy doing my final year project which is building an airship. alot of initial plans had to be modified to suit our suits. soooo many problems, but so far still can handle. left with only 2 weeks to complete both the prototype and the actual. stress man. kk, me go and sleep liao. already 3.17am. nitez... hopefully no more suay things will come my way!!!
