I'm back!!!!!!!!! So many things to update. meet so many new friends. So happening!
Four Seas Youth Bible Seminar 21st Nov - 25th Nov
The YBS is very fun even though i never stay in camp like the rest of the people. Got around 40 something youths from malacca, jb, klang, lim ah pin and jurong coc attend this seminar. It was the 1st of such event. I being a "goody boy" skipped my school to come for this seminar to help out with the games. Every morning and night, there will be lessons by many brethern, mostly foreign.
Day 1
Went there after school. Supposed to help jon with the ice-breaker cum team building games. Jon planned the games while i help him execute them. I was very surprised to see so many youth attending this event. Thankfully the rain has already stopped and the field wasn't that wet. The games went on smoothly. The funny thing is jon keep calling me the orange t-shirt guy. (cos i was wearing orange t-shirt) It is as though i'm nameless. From then on, alot of ppl called me the orange guy. haha...
Day 2
Supposed to have my treasure hunt but some how the organisers wented to bring the malaysian brethern to jurong point to shop. So my treasure hunt is no more. Plan all for nothing. Haiz... Fetch 2 groups to jurong point but thankfully no need to fetch them back. Afternoon was stoning around, looking at people play table tennis or sing hymns. Was abit reserved as dunno the people well. Was quite lonely and jon had to go for his class. And i was told last minute to prepare some games for them. So i just used the game we played during the family camp. The outcome wasn't as funny as i thought it would be, but they had their fun still (hopefully).
Day 3
Was told that nobody from lim ah pin planning games. poor planning by jedediah. so i used my treasure hunt to fill in the slot. I'm best at planning treasure hunt. haha... one more will be coming up! i just love to see people play treasure hunt and get stuck on one clue. haha... the best was 2 out of the 3 teams get stuck on this clues "3 nature call" (3rd floor, beside the toilet, in the washing area). They couldn't find the clue. haha... then sooo many people crowded around the clue area. I told the groups to follow the sequence, they all never follow. was abit messy but everything ended well. Evening time during the free and easy, finally managed to break the ice with all the people (most probably due to the treasure hunt). It was now then i noe i'm one of the oldest there. And 13 year old dun look like 13 year old. Eliza and joann looked like sec 3 - 4. And i was shocked when eliza told me i looked like 30 something years old. Pengz... the 3 sisters from jb, kellie, kimberly and karyn said i look like JJ. haha... Got alot of msn contacts that evening.
Day 4
Came in the afternoon and was told that the programme was to go out for chinatown/ orchid road walk. Was very poorly planned. Too many comments until i cun be bothered to say. All i can say is i should have planned this. anyway... came back 10 something at nite and missed saying my goodbyes to the 3 sis (their group came back 1st). They just left around 5 mins ago. haiz... As it was the last nite of camp, got alot of people staying up at nite to play games. After much persuation, my mom allowed me to stay over. haha... went back to bath and picked up audrey and jon. it was the 1st time i hear tat last nite so quiet. haha... because of jedediah lah. he afraid tat will disturb bro stancliff and his wife. so jon and i did a little test and proved him wrong. had tons and tons of fun. played risk, dai dee, bridge, table tennis, sing hymns and speed. This eliza ar, keep cheating when playing speed. And forever accusing me of cheating when i didn't. haha... even her frens dun help her. Played twice with her and won her twice. the second game was fun. eliza when she wanna to win that set of the game, she screamed "chi" instead of speed. hahaha.... sooooo funny lor. haha... am i good or wat... Got to noe much more about the LAP bretherns. Got to know issac, justin, melissa, bernice, debbie, ser ern, david, jlo, and many others. At 6 plus i caught some sleep so that i can have abit of energy for my afternoon class. But apparently there was somebody trying to disturb me and tat someone is one who screams chi instead of speed. hahahahahaha....
Morning helped to clear up the whole area and arrange back everything. Despite of all the screw ups and stuff, everything ended up well...
